THE KINNART RAVINE MURAL PROJECT
COMMUNITY OUTDOOR ART GALLERY
"THIS IS NOT PUBLIC ARTS, THIS IS ART MADE BY THE PUBLIC "
The KinnArt Ravine Mural Project is a public art gallery in the Kinnaird Ravine located at 82 Street and 111 Avenue, accessible from Sheriff Robertson Park. This outdoor community art installation was developed in 2015 and eventually renewed in 2018. The main principle behind this initiative is “it is not public art, it is art made by the public”. We mentor community participants, practice muralism, design, prepare and paint 62 murals covering 1,900 sqft of community art space installed along retaining walls in the Kinnaird Ravine, with all murals created by local families, professional artists and non-profit groups.

Mask will not be mandatory but we advise our community to be mindful and respectful with everybody's level of comfort. We are complying with current protocols for outdoor gatherings.
